About

In an effort to help new people to HIVE we’ve compiled a list of useful links here. They should provide a good resource to find everything you need to succeed on the HIVE blockchain. One of the great things that drew me here was that there are no gas fees like other chains.

Creating a HIVE Account

  • You can get a free HIVE keychain wallet here: https://hiveonboard.com?ref=hivedrip
  • There’s a great link for different options to sign up for a HIVE wallet: https://signup.hive.io/
  • Splinterlands.com – Buy a spellbook and you will have a HIVE account. This is needed to play the game anyways so is another option.
  • The easiest was is with the Hive Keychain addon but this requires having an account already.
  • Another site that may work for you is https://inji.com/

Getting HIVE

  • https://www.binance.com or https://www.us.binance.us are easiest if you have access.
  • You can also deposit ETH, LTC, BTC, BNB and more at Tribaldex. You will receive the hive equivalent for your coin that you can then sell on the market for swap.hive. This would skip the next step of buying HIVE directly then exchanging for swap.hive.

Converting to Hive/Swap.Hive

  • This is the only HIVE-based DISCORD game I know of. It’s an old-school rpg game where you can level up by killing monsters, you can own land and a castle. You can steal from your neighbor and have a farm. Very addicting so far.

Splinterlands

  • https://Splinterlands.com – Where you can play the game, buy your Spellbook (which creates Hive account).
  • The Most popular game on HIVE
  • Splinterlands is a collectible card game (CCG) where you can battle other players and earn crypto tokens (SPS).

Genesis League Goals

Golem Overlord

  • From the developers of Splex comes a game inspired by Terracore

MuTerra

MuTerra is set in a post-apocalyptic world where radiation has killed almost all of humanity and has mutated plants and animals. You, the survivors, are tasked with ensuring that humanity doesn’t go extinct by exploring the wild, capturing the mutated animals and taming them.

MuTerra is TCG+RPG game which will on HIVE blockchain. But the assets will be available on both WAX and HIVE. WAX side will be used to breed and blend mutees (mutated animals). And the new NFT created on WAX can be sent over to HIVE chain.

The RPG aspect will deal with explorations, raids, quests and more.
The TCG aspect will deal with PvE and PvP battles, where you collect NFTs and fight each other to prove you are the better tamer.

Terracore

  • TerraCore is a post-apocalyptic world where players must mine for valuable $SCRAP in order to survive and thrive. As a citizen of TerraCore, you can upgrade your player and defend it from other players who will stop at nothing to steal your resources.

Exode

  • It is 2325 and nearly all of mankind has been wiped out on a galactic scale by hostile aliens. Players are space captains visiting faraway as yet unattacked stations – just as those stations come under attack. Splinterlands Node License

  • License tokens can be purchased in the ingame shop for $2500 in SPS plus 500 vouchers or on Hive Engine.
    If you don’t want to have to eventually run validator software and prefer your rewards liquid instead of automatically staked there’s a nice way to earn below with a much smaller initial investment.
